Apple Has More California Self-Driving Test Cars than Waymo and Uber
Apple has expanded the number of its self-driving testing vehicles in California, which is more than Waymo and Uber.
According to the data and figures provided by Department of Motor Vehicles in California, Apple has doubled the number of its registered self-driving cars to 45, while it only had 27 cars a few months ago. The total number in currently has more than Waymo and Uber, and just second to the General Motors.
This news of Apple’s self-driving testing vehicles comes after the accident of Uber’s self-driving test vehicle killed a female pedestrian, the autonomous Uber vehicle in Tempe, Arizona. And it is reported that the Apple cars are usually spotted in the wild.
